What to Expect
Our Sunday services are intended to create space for people from many different backgrounds to come together in worship of God in community with one another. Before the service begins, an open prayer time is held in the church offices (anyone is welcome to attend this!) starting at 08h15. Closer to 09h00, people begin to filter into the main hall, and newcomers and regulars alike will be greeted by our welcome team at the door. The worship team will lead us in a time of singing (and sometimes prayer ministry as well, if that’s how the Holy Spirit is working on that particular morning!), which will move into a sermon and response time. We strive to incorporate multiple languages, traditions, and streams of spirituality throughout our service while making space for God to work uniquely each week. Wherever you might be in your faith journey–a long-time follower of Jesus, curious about God, or someone sceptical about religion–we invite you to join us as we seek God together. We hope you will find Following Jesus to be a place of love, safety, and growth.
What About My Kids?
We offer ministry to children and youth during our 09h00 worship service. [In future, we can add: You can learn more about this on our Children’s Church and Youth Ministry page. – and add a link] If it is your first time visiting our church, please arrive early to meet the teachers and check your children and youth into their programmes.
